New Leisure Activities During Pandemic

If I am honest with you (maybe because of my career or my musical "profession") I am a lazy boy talking about physical activities ...

On the other hand, I have a large part of my time occupied with several classes a week and other musical activities… but all at home!

The last time I had several physical complaints, and that scares me because I am a young man (I am only 24 years old!) ... I felt so tired, muscle pain, etc. (I am sure that this is because online classes, spend many hours in front of the computer, the quarantine, and at first, the fear of leaving the house, etc. anyway, reasons why not leave home).

I decided to start with an exercise routine (hopefully the most number of days at week), but is nothing new for me, because this routine contemplate cycling routes, muscle exercise and stuff like that, and all this practices I have done them before… so, the difference is that this time the pandemic was the motivation and exercise a necessity of my body… so, thanks pandemic for give me this motivation, but I hate you for everything else (hahaha).

This time my body spoke to me, and I've been feeling a lot better lately.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Hi everyone! Today I’m going to talk you a little bit about beautiful Amsterdam, in The Netherlands. I would love to visit this particular place, first of all for its famous and important conservatory. I'm a kind of  nerd, and after my 7-year career (and my current last semester!) I would love to continue my musical studies at that conservatory, because a particular teacher with whom I would like to study teaches there. On the other hand, I would love to visit some interesting places, like the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, or listen something in Bimhuis (a kind of Jazz and improvised music concert hall, because I love and play Jazz too.) And the last and not least for that!!! I've read about the beer culture (a beer lover too haha) and, not as important in the matter as its Belgian neighbors, on south, Amsterdam and The Netherlands in general, has a very rich and interesting beer culture ... and that interests me a lot jijiji. I hope we ca...

One of the best concerts I've seen.

In the summer of 2015, I saw probably one of the best jazz concerts I have ever seen. Every year until 2018, the Providencia International Jazz Festival was held, with 3 nights of jazz with national and international artists. That year I was lucky to see the Chilean saxophonist based in New York, Melissa Aldana, according to many (including me) one of the best current saxophonists in the world. Melissa born in 1988, daughter of the important teacher and saxophonist Marcos Aldana, starts to play saxophone at 5 years old. Already young and very talented, she participes with different national jazz ensembles. Melissa went to study in the United States in 2007 at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she began to rub shoulders and play with established jazz such as George Garzone, George Coleman and Francisco Mela, among others. In 2013, at the age of 23, Melissa won the “Thelonious Monk International Saxophone Competition”, becoming one of the best saxophonists...
