"CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME"

My university career (Musical composition) changed over time. We actually underwent a change in the curriculum (where all the subjects are) where my generation was the first to try the change (kind of like white lab rats hahaha just kidding). This change happened in the middle of the 7 years of the career. The subjects are Harmony, Counterpoint, Sol-fa ("solfeggio") or Voice Practice, basic and superior, Organology, Instrumentation, Orchestration and Analysis, to name a few. In the new curriculum mesh, the career was divided into 3 specialties, which are ensemble conducting, electroacoustic music and interdisciplinary. If I wanted to correct something in my career, I would not lean towards mesh but rather towards infrastructures of the faculty of arts. The precariousness that exists in the faculty is very notorious and evident, where the lack of electronic inputs, such as decent sound equipment or “datas”, are quite present and many times made our learning more complex an...

New Leisure Activities During Pandemic

If I am honest with you (maybe because of my career or my musical "profession") I am a lazy boy talking about physical activities ... On the other hand, I have a large part of my time occupied with several classes a week and other musical activities… but all at home! The last time I had several physical complaints, and that scares me because I am a young man (I am only 24 years old!) ... I felt so tired, muscle pain, etc. (I am sure that this is because online classes, spend many hours in front of the computer, the quarantine, and at first, the fear of leaving the house, etc. anyway, reasons why not leave home). I decided to start with an exercise routine (hopefully the most number of days at week), but is nothing new for me, because this routine contemplate cycling routes, muscle exercise and stuff like that, and all this practices I have done them before… so, the difference is that this time the pandemic was the motivation and exercise a necessity of my body… so, than...

Four-Legged friend

In my entire life I have had several animals. Being absolutely honest, I forgot some names because at that time maybe I was too young. Despite this, I would like to talk about my two current pets, who have otherwise been with me for many years. They are both dogs, and they are very different from each other. The first one was adopted from a family that could not take care of her and her eight sisters. Her name is Estrella and she’s 15 years old… Pretty old, but very active and in my opinion with several more years to go. She is very calm in her daily life, she is generally rolling around and sleeping peacefully ... she is quite blind and deaf, but that does not take away her spirits and the desire to play.  The second is called Luna and she is much younger than the first. She is 7 years old and her arrival was rather anecdotal. One day in July 7 years ago, someone tried to bring her into our house as it was very cold. Just at that moment my brother and my mother arrived by car, and...
